Improve visibility of "DEPRECATED not usable with version 3.x" caveat

Hi @shawncplus,

This looked like a promising tool for Ranvier and I spent a bit of time mucking about with a local install before realising it won't work with Ranvier version 3.x.

Unfortunately I missed the "About" description of the GitHub repo which states:

DEPRECATED not usable with version 3.x

It would be excellent to have this warning more clearly signposted in the README. The GitHub repo could also be marked as Archived so the repo is properly read-only.

It would also be nice to have more context on why the project has been deprecated. For example, were there significant issues that couldn't be resolved, a lack of time/collaborators, or is there an alternative tool to recommend? I could be enticed to contribute to resurrecting this, if that might be worthwhile.
