Problem Description

Do you remember when audio showed up doubled, when video is scanned? It's now the same with subtitles. All in that video integrated subtitles recognized, show up doubled. Not the external ones.

What version of VidCoder are you running?

11.7

Can you post an encode log, a screenshot of the "doubled subtitles" you're seeing, and what Subtitles Picker settings you're using? Do you see them doubled under the subtitle tracks list in the main window?

Atm, I tried to reproduce this on an older intel win10 pro laptop and there, this "phenomenon" of doubled subtitles, doesn't show. But on the AMD-Tower it does show. > Can this be processor specific? I'll provide an encode log asap.

_"Do you see them doubled under the subtitle tracks list in the main window?"

YES Usual settings used for subtitles: VidCoder_NHCqeFHuNi

Can you post a screenshot of the doubled subtitles? And a scan log from the source you loaded?

I just found the reason! On the AMD machine the language "Unknown" has been added to the subtitles Track selection: Languages, every subtitle in that MKV (not external) will be added twice. If you still need further screenshots or logs I can provide them tomorrow, please let me know.

I'm not able to repro this issue, I set the Languages selection to "Unknown" but it doesn't choose any tracks. If it's still a problem, could you supply a sample video file that it happens on?
