Jumping to internal anchors within the article view?

Hi NNW developers - first, thank you as always for this truly wonderful piece of software. :)

This morning I was skimming a very long article that had a table of contents at the beginning (similar to Wikipedia). When I clicked a link in the TOC, I was hoping it would scroll the article to that section within NNW. But instead, it opened the article in my browser Safari, and jumped to that section in Safari.

Here is the article I was reading:

  • Copy article URL: https://huyenchip.com/2023/04/11/llm-engineering.html
  • Copy external URL: https://huyenchip.com//2023/04/11/llm-engineering.html
  • Copy feed URL: https://huyenchip.com/feed.xml

I'm wondering if there is a way NetNewsWire could detect when an article has an internal link, and then automatically scroll instead of opening the article in the browser. Besides mitigating the inconvenience of the browser opening, this would also be helpful if you are reading without an internet connection!

Thanks again.

(Oh, I should add in case it's helpful: I'm running NNW 6.1.2 on macOS 11.6.5.)

I have done some work to support things like this in MarsEdit, so I could take a look if nobody else is gunning for it.
