MHP30 Profile Not Executing

Assume it's a hardware problem on my end, but maybe I'm missing something:

Set up a 2 phase reflow profile, 140° preheat ramping up to 240°, and when activating it the MHP30 heats up to a more or less random value on the way to 140 (mostly somewhere 90 and 120) and then does ... nothing else/more, and slowly cools down again.

Any ideas what that could be? Broken PD / temp sensing throwing PID off? Black magic curse?

Just to be sure, are you going into profile mode with the long press to start?

When did you buy the MHP30? The newer revisions where Miniware cheaped out on the MCU have issues due to using clone chips; so could be that? Does it work in "normal" mode?
