• What kind of change does this PR introduce?

• Updated version of #1529.
• Should reduce the spike issue we get (#1915,#1688 etc). Doesnt fully eliminate it but should reduce it.

This includes some non-backwards compatible changes settings-wise (new calibrations) so if testing, reset device settings after flashing (will automate this)

Todo:
