I just started having this problem myself, months after you. I though perhaps the version of pulseaudio might be at fault, but according to [this site](https://ubuntuupdates.org/package/core/focal/main/updates/pulseaudio) the update happened months...

@siddhpant Maybe pulseaudio could be the fault? I have `pulseaudio 13.99.1`. I did try with version 15 and no luck either.

Less places you need to edit the better.

I seem to have the issue now as well. Obsidian v1.0.0 Admonition 9.0.5 Markdown Syntax highlighting disabled. Not sure if relevant to this, or a new issue has to be...

Consider my adl script as a possible alternative. @justchokingaround is also interesting.

Seems the issue persists. I have reinstalled from git just to be safe and checked if it is updated.

This wasn't an issue for me when I was on KDE Neon based on Ubuntu 18.04. I had `pandoc emacs texlive-full python python-pip` installed (python 2 and 3 were installed)....

@vkareh I get the same with `space` or even `space`. I would recommend the following: - the shortcut will start the python script + the hud is now started, starts...
