Hey there, @bdodroid!
That looks like it could be a ChromeOS/Android issue to me — the client is still a little rough around the edges on those platforms.
We'd like to check a few things:
- Do you experience the same issue connecting from Chrome on a laptop running Windows?
- What's your Rainway username?
Thanks for reporting! :sparkles:
@lynn Rainway user name is bdodroid I don't have any other windows devices to test with unfortunately, its all android and chromeOS apart from my gaming rig. But it looks like uninstalling and re-installing rainway a couple times seemed to have fixed it.
Now its just down to a performance. I dont know why but since about the time of the big ui overhaul to the client I cant seem to get anything to run well enough to be playable anymore, I used to be able to run pillars of eternity pretty well apart form audio cutting out after a couple minutes.
I'll keep messing with settings though. Maybe I'm missing something with scaling or something. It would be awesome to use my chromebook for gaming again without having to run parsec through an annoying crouton install.
Hey, glad you got it to work! 🚀
Sorry to hear you've experienced a performance hit. What data do you see when you visit this link?
Interesting. Here's the info: (I did just update to Chrome 74 today)

Having this issue, look like a chromeOS/android problem-related.
Tried on multiple, game crashes after 3 or 4 seconds.
Right now it getting late for me, I'll reinstall
Which game specifically?
I tried gunpoint, crashed and then I continued, they all crash Geometry dash Bad rats. I'm right now busy but I will try more, also it probably not the game. Remote desktop doesn't launch and just give me "How Was your Experience?" screen literally after I click assuming it crashed
