VoxYou Exeption if Directory Doesn't Exist

Open qome opened this issue 5 years ago • 2 comments

VoxYou has an exception of the directory it expects plugins to be in doesn't exist. Since everything else on my system looks in a different place (two places, atually, C:\Program Files\VSTPlugins and C:\Program Files (x86)\VSTPlugins it would be nice for VoxYou to

  • look in the same place or
  • allow the user to configure the directory or
  • create the directory with a notification that it's empty

Got the same error; seems as if I can't even use VoxYou because of this. No plugins show up for me.

Longoon - is it possible we might see another release with some fixes sometime in the near future? As best I can tell, this seems to be the best option for running some VST programs for my mic exactly as you described in the readme, but it still seems to be a bit rough around the edges (I can't even see any plugins when I start the program b/c of this error, for example).

Also does it automatically install ReaPlugs? Or is it possible to specify another directory if we have ReaPlugs installed?

Ran into this problem. Workaround is to manually create the missing folder the program is searching for, it doesn't need to have any plugins inside of it.
