Sleep freezes my Forma

If I send the device to sleep while having a manga open, my Kobo Forma freezes. I have to hold the power button to kill it and boot it up again. Is there anything I can do to help narrow this issue down? Am I the only one with this issue?

I have the same problem with my Forma, not only while reading but also in the menu.

For me the application is completely unresponsive. I have put the latest release (2.12.0) on my new kobo forma (software version 4.21.15023.

Same problem encountered on Libra H2O. Two out of the three times it happened UMR kept crashing after reboot (right after the home screen showed up). Copying all the UMR files back to .adds solved the problem so I suspect one of the files got corrupted. Another result of the problem was clearing the favorites list. The reading state was maintained, so adding the favorites back worked.
