paid but no working game

I've followed the instructions in the readme and did a donation but it ends in several red lines in a box or command(don't know about computers) and the start screen freeze can't even select an option. I do See the option settings vr though. Very strange and spent the whole evening on it. Does this sound familiar? And yes, I've tried also to copy paste the dll.
