SteamVR lobby shows briefly during transition to/from memory sequence (loop end)
The title explains it all. It would be ideal if this did not happen/could be avoided, as it's pretty immersion-breaking and a bit jarring.
Might be possible to fix by using the SteamVR_LoadLevel behavior.
Does seem like a lot of work for something that doesn't really matter, so I wouldn't expect anything to be done about this.
@Raicuparta Completely breaking immersion doesn't matter? In a game that's all about immersing the player in its world, and even further, a medium (VR) that places even greater significance on keeping the user immersed, I would beg to differ. Having your entire FOV switch to an unrelated void for a few seconds every 22 minutes is rather unpleasant and detracts from the experience.
That said, I know you guys do all this in your free time and I don't want to come off as ungrateful! Your work is amazing and I sincerely appreciate that NomaiVR exists at all. <3
I'd say in the grand scheme of things, having a less than perfect loading screen doesn't really matter much yeah, compared to other bugs and missing features we still have. I was just saying that so you wouldn't wait for it to happen soon.
