IOexception when downloading file

I have exactly the same problem as the previous user but it is not fixed by changing the permissions in the manifest.

Otherwise a useful package.

Do you have the internet permission? Is the SD Card mounted and accessible by other apps on your device?

Hmm. This shouldn't be happening then. Could you post a complete stacktrace?

I have created a file as versioncode.txt and entered 2 in it. Nothing else.. It returns error as There was an IO exception There was an error reading the file.

Is it a problem with the txt file or url ????
