Unfitting playback speed icons in GNOME 48
Clapper currently uses symbolic power profile icons to represent different playback speeds:
https://github.com/Rafostar/clapper/blob/daadabba8dfe9fa8dcf9c44b2572c23c962fe2bd/src/lib/clapper-gtk/clapper-gtk-utils.c#L91-L99
However, these icons have been changed for GNOME 48 and no longer really fit the playback speed metaphor:
Unfortunately, the original icons are no longer available in the current Adwaita theme. A solution could be to include the old icons directly with Clapper, at least for newer GNOME versions.
Related issue #432.
I should probably just bundle all (especially non-freedesktop) icons to be used as fallback. But in cases where Adwaita icon stops fitting, no other way than just enforcing some custom (in this case older variation) icon unfortunately.
That seems to be the direction GTK is heading long-term anyway. If I understand this correctly, native icon theme support will be dropped at some point: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gtk/-/issues/5007
