Compatibility with smart components

I think your plugin is great, but there is a minor issue using it with smart components.

The plugin works good with simple paths, but it doesn't recognize the outline of smart components, unless decomposed.

Bump. Using this tool with components would be fantastic. Currently, one needs to decompose components in order to measure distances. Sadly, I have zero experience outside of Python, so I can't really suggest where to add this in the code, sorry. Thanks for considering! :)
