What happened?

I created a new db in a folder where I had some exisiting files. These files all have a date in the filename in the format "2023.04.13 {other text}"

The db will read existing files that have a period in the name no problem. But if I try to add a new row and create a file from a template, it will shorten the filename to "2023.04" and all the text I write after that disappears. Switching to "2023-04-13 {other text}" works fine.
