CFD Unlock Code not working or broken?

So I was testing out the CFD unlock code, by first slowing down the time it takes to update the unlock code and manually in-putting the code shown on the CFD. And after a bit of waiting for that... nothing. Then I tried brute forcing it with an E2, to no avail (Which tbh, I'd rather not wait to see the result of that, but I did anyway for a while). Has this been tested at all before being put into production, or did something break, or maybe it's just me? idk

It just doesn't work, it generates a new code and then checks if the code is valid, so you will never be able to unlock it with the code unless you know what code its about to generate
