Doesn't work with my i-lap rc timing gate

Hi, sorry for the possibly stupid question. I tried everything to get this project working but without success. Here are some photos of my i-Lap gate system, can anybody confirm that is the same one as you're using with these transponders?

I tried multiple Arduinos - Pro Micro 3.3V 8Mhz (32u4), Pro Mini 5v 16Mhz (328p), both without any sign of readings (no blinking RX led on the receiver, no logged IDs). Also tried multiple IR diodes, your recommended one too. Transmission is working I can see the IDs sent with IR receiver build on a Raspberry Pi (irw tool).

Any thoughts?
