Seeking Help: Issue Installing fairseq as a Python Newbie

Open AkaitsukiBrunestud opened this issue 1 year ago • 3 comments

The problem arises during the wheel building process for fairseq. As a complete Python novice, I’m feeling a bit lost. Here are the details of my setup:

Python version: 3.10.11 Graphics card: AMD

Here’s the error message I’m encountering:

Building wheels for collected packages: fairseq, antlr4-python3-runtime Building wheel for fairseq (pyproject.toml) ... error error: subprocess-exited-with-error × Building wheel for fairseq (pyproject.toml) did not run successfully. │ exit code: 1 ╰─> [687 lines of output] running bdist_wheel running build ...

I’ve tried installing different versions of fairseq (including 0.11.1 and 0.12.2), MSVC v142 - VS 2022 C++ CMake, and Windows SDK. I’ve also repeatedly attempted to install different versions of pip (3.0, 4.0, 4.1.1). Unfortunately, none of these attempts have worked, the issue persists.

If anyone has any suggestions or solutions, I would greatly appreciate your help! Thank you in advance! 🙏

I've got it covered. If you don't need to train your own model, just download this: https://huggingface.co/lj1995/VoiceConversionWebUI/blob/main/RVC1006AMD_Intel.7z Once you've done that, set up your input and output devices, and you'll be good to go.
