License of produced schematics

I have a question. From what I understand, since there is no a symbol exception like described here it means that files generated by xcircuit are under GPL. Is this correct?

The gEDA clause seems reasonable and you may assume that that is the intent of all symbol libraries released with xcircuit, whether so stated or not.
