restore ChEMBL computationally predicted compound-protein edges

Per issue #172, there is a request to restore the computationally predicted compound-to-protein edges (from ChEMBL) in RTX-KG2, that got dropped in KG2.6.0 when we deprecated all the old API-based RTX-KG1 edges.

I am working on figuring out where this is stored in the MySQL dump, since it is stored under "Target Predictions" on each compound's page (ex. https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chembl/compound_report_card/CHEMBL112/).

Since the given schema is hard to use, as it is not searchable, I (largely) programmatically generated this file that is a way less pretty version of that file, but is searchable: (ChEMBL 33) searchable_chembl_tables.txt

After spending a while looking through the MySQL database, I decided to reach out to the ChEMBL help desk:

I am working on ETLing ChEMBL's "Target Prediction" (that's the label on the compound pages, such https://www.ebi.ac.uk/chembl/compound_report_card/CHEMBL10/) information to RTX-KG2 using ChEMBL's MySQL dump, version 33. I noticed there is a table for binding site predictions, but I don't see one for target predictions. Is this stored somewhere in the ChEMBL MySQL download? If not, is there another way I can download it?

Target predictions can be found on the interface and predictions can be run using the Docker image. Hopefully this helps but please get back in touch if you have further questions.

It was a good idea to contact the ChEMBL helpdesk. However, it sounds like they might be saying that the predictions are not in their SQL dump?

That is definitely what they are saying with this. It would be a lot of work to bring in the predictions through a Docker image. I'm not sure if it is worth it or not.
