Add ORF TVthek as bridge

General information

Should basically work like e. g. ARD Mediathek.

• Host URI for the bridge (i.e. `https://tvthek.orf.at):

• Which information would you like to see? At least episodes (or even videos, so parts of an episode) of shows

• How should the information be displayed/formatted? See ARD Mediathek

• Which of the following parameters do you expect?

  • [X] Title
  • [X] URI (link to the original article)
  • [ ] Author
  • [ ] Timestamp
  • [X] Content (the content of the article)
  • [ ] Enclosures (pictures, videos, etc...)
  • [ ] Categories (categories, tags, etc...)

Options

• [ ] Limit number of returned items
  • Default limit: 5
• [ ] Load full articles
  • Cache articles (articles are stored in a local cache on first request): yes
  • Cache timeout (max = 24 hours): 24 hours
• [X] Balance requests (RSS-Bridge uses cached versions to reduce bandwith usage)
  • Timeout (default = 5 minutes, max = 24 hours): 5 minutes

Additional notes

• Thank you for this awesome project. I was really surprised to finally found some service/site which is not available here (yet) 😃
• In the end it should be possible to e. g. subscribe to a show's feed like for example https://tvthek.orf.at/profile/Willkommen-Oesterreich/1309549

I see no way to subscribe to a dedicated show and only get episodes of that particular show using those default feeds. That's why I created this bridge request.

I read some things that the new "ON" service will be the default in a short time. Should the bridge go to that instead of the "old" mediathek that is probably going to be discontinued soon (tm) ?

Can't contribute on this as I don't know if and especially when this "switch" might happen, might take years. I only now the current "ON" is the on demand version of the ServusTV station (a private one), which is not affiliated with the national ORF stuff in Austria at all. The new ORF ON is mainly not even ready so... for now please let's build a bridge for what is productive now.
