The api does not find anything for it. I don't know why.

It fails on TwitterV2 bridge as well. Very strange, must be some kind of API bug. I can get results for #cms and #spip.

This hyperlink goes to a "no results found" page for me about 50% of the time. I've clicked it six times so far, and no results 3 times and actual search results 3 times. So whatever the problem is, appears to be affecting twitter.com as well.
