SynEdit completion proposal not resizable when theme active

https://github.com/SynEdit/SynEdit/ has a code completion popup window which is normally resizable, without theming:

Activating a theme disallows resizing: grafik

And this is not just the mouse cursor which does not change - the window is not resizable.

Do you have a hint how to accomplish a fix here?
