Logging in doesnt work
The builder tool says my password is wrong even though it is the same one that I entered in the SteamPipe Build Uploader
It is definitely working for me, so I can say with certainty that there is something else causing this.
Did you enter a Steam Guard code?
It might be similar to my problem: My password includes the character ">" which leads to a file being written in the same folder as the GUI tool with a filename that is the rest of my pw after ">". Also, a console window opens without it doing anything (it is just a prompt in the working dir). Does the password maybe need to be quoted / escaped?
I did enter a guard code but my password does not include a ">"
Asking for password related things is a bit sensitive, but does your password include any "unusual" characters? My guess is that these characters are parsed as part of the cmd line and not as a password. I think I have time to look into it this evening!
Ah, yes now that you mention it I realized that the first character is a "-" which makes it very possible that this is the reason for my problem 😅
