[Bug]: Splash screen doesn't work right during long load times

Describe the Bug

Lately I've sporadically had to wait 5 - 10 seconds for MapTool to open. That's mildly annoying, but fine. The issue is that we have a splash screen, but it is immediately overshadowed by the main frame opening. The frame isn't initialized yet, so it's just blank, and the whole thing looks kind of weird.

To Reproduce

  1. Open MapTool

Expected Behaviour

The splash screen stays visible and the main frame stay hidden until everything is loaded.
