[NPUB30899] Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Tekken Tunes feature (custom BGM) does not work consistently
Quick summary
TTT2's "Tekken Tunes" feature allows the user to play their own music while playing the game. Users can swap the songs for all 28 stages as well as the Main Menu, Character Select, and more.
Issue: The music does not consistently play when loading into a stage. RPCS3 will consistently load the custom songs for the Main Menu and Character Select but will fail frequently when loading a song for a stage.

I have recorded a video (https://files.catbox.moe/nkhg39.mp4) of me randomly selecting a bunch of stages to show what I am talking about. I have a custom song applied for every stage in the game:
Sakura Schoolyard - successful Condor Canyon - successful Snoop Dogg's stage - failed Fontana de Trevi - successful Eternal Paradise - failed Sakura Schoolyard (again) - successful Tulip Festival - failed Extravagant Underground - failed
Nothing is really guaranteed besides the Character Select and Main Menu. For example, if I ended my session and booted the game again, the stages that were successful in the last session may not play in the next session. I've had sessions where I selected like 4 or 5 stages in a row and none of the songs played. RPCS3 was actually more consistent in this recording than it usually is.
Another issue is that sometimes RPCS3 will play the wrong song. If I have a song selected for "Stage A" and I select "Stage B," Stage A's song will play on Stage B. This doesn't happen often, but I felt I'd mention it as well. The custom songs not playing at all is the more important issue to me.

@missmyfriends can you check in "menu->Utilitites->Music Player" if the audio files play correctly? Some of my files only play when I press Play->Stop->Play due to a bug in the Qt player. If such a file is played ingame, it will just stay silent without any actual error. It's possible that some of your files experience this behavior.

Yes, I am experiencing the same behavior with some of the songs when using the Music Player utility. I probably should've mentioned this in the original post, but when choosing the songs in the Tekken Tunes menu it allows you to test the song for each stage, and the same thing happens for the affected songs in-game: you have to play, stop, then play again for the song to play.
So is the solution to simply dump songs in the dev_hdd0 music folder, test them with the RPCS3 Music Player utility and delete the ones that it has issues with?
The proper solution is to wait until they fixed it on Qt side or I found a workaround. But I suggest trying to re-encode the affected mp3s with ffmpeg to the same encoding that the working songs have. (Maybe you can ask google or chatgpt how to do it and play around a bit, since I don't really have time right now)
Hello missmyfriends, how did you even manage to get your songs to appear in game? I tried putting in the same path you showed above and nothing shows ingame, its literally empty. Never mind i managed to get them but im having the same issue, putting them in stage wont play anything, i tried using hte music player to test them but not a single one is playing, they dont even load for some reason?
Hello. I just tried a bunch of different songs in the music player and they all worked on the first try. Seems like the issue got fixed somewhere along the way. Thank you.
