[BLUS30012] Call of Duty 3 textures flashing
Quick summary
Textures are briefly flashing on specific surfaces and models randomly. On some levels it's worse than the others.
Details
On some levels it's worse than the others. A good example is Chapter Five: Falaise Road. After the turret section there are serval checkpoints from which you can load in and experience the flashing frequently.
I have a small video recorded of the flashing in action, but it seems GitHub does not like uploading mp4 files, so here is a screenshot from it.
Tried running with default config, default config + wiki config suggestions (disable anti-aliasing), strict rendering, bunch of other setting permutations - the result is the same.
Side note, the patch for extending FoV in Call of Duty 3 is not working. Did A/B test before and after applying - same FoV. The main issue about flashing colors is present regardless if the patch is used.
