Ratchet and Clank games crash when scanning for previous game's saves
Quick summary
The Ratchet and Clank ports to ps3 have functionality for unlocking bonuses for having saves from the previous games that are past certain points of progression on the hard drive when playing the later games in the series. Having a save from the first game unlocks weapons in the second game and allows you to purchase them for free if you owned them in the first game, with similar ideas being used in later games.
Details
Trying to use this feature in rpcs3 though causes the emulated game to immediately crash with an access violation due to attempting to read from unmapped memory.

I attempted to go back through the releases and see if this ever worked after some people said that they remembered it not having any issues, but after going back 2 years and having the same issue, either I'm missing something or the bug has always been present.
I recently (Jan 2025) played through all the games in the R&C trilogy on a Lenovo Legion Go running Linux and did not experience this issue on either of the games that implement the feature. I also recall using this feature in the past without issue on Windows, so it might be a system/save specific bug you're running into?
I'm using the Collection, imported a save from Apollo Save Tool Database for RaC1, while it didn't give me the discount, the game did not crash.
@Masamune3210 did you satisfy your promise :-)? this issue has been reported by users as not present (at least since January 2025)

I can't seem to get this to reproduce. Either it's been fixed or whatever state my stuff was in to make it happen is no longer happening. If I manage to get it to happen again, I'll reopen.
