Trophies fail to unlock for Assassin's Creed 2

I have been aware of this issue for at least 3 years now. This is not a regression report.
Details
During the game's intro, there is a location where a trophy unlocks by performing the task: "Be reborn as Ezio Auditore Da Firenze." I have compared it to a real PS3 and know exactly when the trophy pop-up should occur so I am not simply just exiting RPCS3 before the trophy could be unlocked. I have also accomplished in my overall playtime at least 20 trophies to attempt to see if any of the trophies unlock in the event it was something like only bronze, only silver, only gold trophies, or whatever it may have been was the issue. I have observed that no trophies in this game work on my PC. Several times in the past few years of me observing this issue, the game has been reinstalled, the trophies have been wiped and reset, the emulator has had a clean install, etc.

Other details
The first trophy is the first 4 inputs of the game after entering the animus. The issue can be tested from a new game within 5 minutes only delayed by cutscenes. The trophy should be unlocked before Desmond wakes up and immediately after Ezio starts to cry when the father says "Listen to him a fine set of lungs."
