[BLES01776] Deadly Premonition: The Director's Cut - alpha issues near Chapter 5's elevator
Quick summary
In Episode 1 Chapter 5, the walls around the lumbermill elevator (that includes the elevator shaft and the rooms that the elevator's in) look semi-transparent with random-looking dots of the actual textures covering them.

You're using OpenGL for this issue, is this OpenGL specific or does it also happen in Vulkan?

This also happens in Vulkan.
I'm pretty sure this was a bug in the AMD driver specifically on older cards. I'll have to test on RDNA and see if it is fixed there.
Needs a savefile.

I finished the game a while ago, and on the Other World section replays, you can't save inside them. I saved next to the lumbermill, you have to head towards the purple marker (turn around, you'll see it), head there, and inside pretty much just follow the medals until you reach the elevator. The bug should happen there, but if you want to get up to where it happens, take the elevator (walk up to the control panel, there should be a Turn ON/OFF prompt there).
You can shoot at enemies if they stop you (I have the infinite ammo SMG), but there is an area on the way where they spawn endlessly, you're just supposed to go past them. The boxes you have to push or climb over can be destroyed with the same SMG. You can also get a quicker door opening animation by sprinting into them while opening them.
Useful controls: L2 - run L1 - aim down sights R1 (while holding L1) - attack R2 (hold) - lock on (when aiming)/hold your breath (the shadows won't spot you, but it's kinda useless since York/Zach's stamina is quite limited) D-Pad Up/Down - switch weapons
Same thing happens on the latest version. BLES01776-00.zip
I can corroborate that this still happens. It doesn't disrupt gameplay at all and it looks neat honestly. But it should be fixed at some point.
