No Wiki?

I'm just getting started with ROS and the Kinect2 and I'm pretty excited about realtime fusion on my ros capturebot.

This library looks the most promising ros-ified kinfu implementation that services my need for external tracking and not (soley) relying on ICP. So Hurrah!

I would like to contribute tutorial to make it easier to get setup and running with ubuntu linux, but there doesn't appear to be anything on the wiki.

@RMonica are you continuing to extend this library? I lack the skill to make material improvements in the code, but understand enough to document what works and to make this a bit more accessible with some step by step guide(s).

Any issues with me getting some tutorial pages going? it might take some offiline chatting to get bootstrapped and running, but i can contribute here and want to help.

Thanks for the offer. There is no wiki because I never had much time for documentation. Feel free to write the tutorials. Apparently, edits on the wiki are already enabled for everyone. That said, I think you should install the package and make it work, first of all.

I don't plan to extend the package in the near future. I will try to keep it compiling, however.

I don't understand what you mean with "offline chatting". If you have friends/colleagues that can help you outside of the internet, good for you. If you want to talk with me in person, it may be... complicated.

If you have any question, please ask using this issue. I will answer as soon as I can: i.e. not very often, as you can see :(.
