Settings menu persists over the game after pressing escape

When you open the menu and click on settings, hitting escape will close the menu but the settings window will stay on top, requiring you to re-open the menu and click the icon to close it.

Self-explanatory issue, hitting escape should close the settings menu with the escape menu.
