How to update the pick-ban tool after new github releases?

Can I just update somehow the existing tool? Or do I have to install it over the existing file? Or is a complete fresh install advised?

You should be fine to download the latest release, and overwriting the contents of the existing installation with the newest release. Module updates are handled through the toolkit directly, just update in the modules page and restart the toolkit :)

I will add the steps to the wiki in the future.
