Save every X minutes

It would be cool if it could save every e.g. 5 minutes, so that if the game crashes we don't lose all our progress.

I know this is an old comment. Not sure if this is still being worked on? This would be a brilliant feature if you can implement it.

@Surfinite Hey, this project is currently "on-hold". I have plans to return to it in the future but my current workload is excessive.

My understanding is that the game only saves when closing - so there isn't anything to take an autosave from every X minutes. It might be possible to do this using a mod working alongside the launcher so I will leave this ticket open for now!
