Trial GlitchTip over Sentry
Sentry doesn't allow more than 1 team member. We might wanna consider trying GlitchTip which offers multiple team members in their free tier and in general has more competitive pricing.
Switching should be as easy as switching DSN and upload location for debug files.
Might wanna trial it on a fork of FlightCore first.
For the sake of testing I've switched a production environment for a project I run to GlitchTip instead of sentryio.
Within less than 2 days I already managed to fill my quota up to 15%
With Gecko stating on Discord that FlightCore receives even more events it would very quickly hit the cap.
GlitchTip also supports self hosting, which is quite trivial to do since its backend is a simple Django setup and its frontend is just an Angular web app.
Since there is also a bunch of infrastructure hosted for Northstar (masterserver, graphana, etc.) it might be worth experimenting how well a self hosted instance will hold up for FlightCore so it could be adopted for Northstar.
I've gone and setup a self hosted instance on a Raspberry Pi to see how well it behaves on lower end hardware. Thus far I only had it completely die once, but that was caused by a networking mistake on my part. Will report back in a week or so.
