Log Output options "Status Change" broken./misleading in outlier case

ping output works fine for me (Windows 11)

I pasted the path from the top box o the second path box rather than browse.

except the second path box actually wants a file name, not a path, leading to a possibly rare problem:

But if in the same dialog I select "status changes" it says I don't have access, even if it is set to the same directory, and then disables logging.

Sounds like this is on the logging options screen. Yes, one option wants a directory and the other option wants a full path with file name.

For the option that wants a filename, if you browse to a directory, it auto-adds a filename to the directory you select. The issue is if you have only a directory in that field, it's not what the app wants and will disable logging at the first write attempt.

I can address this with some minor UI changes and checks.
