Just as a guess, I think the option could be added in a similar spot to this `userLang` config option. https://github.com/QwantResearch/erdapfel/blob/ffd91d287130c13620ca3565466e25bbd6d0acea/src/adapters/direction_api.js#L44 Something like `const userUnits = masq.getPreferredUnits();` maybe?

Please add an icon for charging stations. As you can see [here](https://www.qwant.com/maps/place/osm:node:10294793142@Sankt_Josef_Hospital), there is no real icon (like there is an icon, but not something like [this](https://pixabay.com/vectors/gas-station-symbol-e-car-3886561/)).
