add JavaScript right-click menu option

Open clavinet opened this issue 7 years ago • 9 comments

So far, Qupzilla has three options for Javascript permissions under Privacy:

  • open popup
  • change window size
  • access clipboard

Would it be possible to add an option to allow replacing the context menu (right click)?

As it is now, when right-clicking on a site that has a javascript context menu, both the JS and the browser's menu open. It would be nice if you could customize this behavior.

It should not work like that, what is your QtWebEngine version?

5.7.1 looks like openSUSE Tumbleweed's libqt5-qtwebengine is outdated.

It still happens with 5.9.0

For example this one http://swisnl.github.io/jQuery-contextMenu/demo.html

I get the JavaScript context menu there, as expected (QtWebEngine 5.9).

It's broken with MouseGestures configured to use right mouse button.
