Search dialog opens when typing 'S'

The search dialog opens sometimes when I am typing comments or my own post. It just happens while typing and I can ESC back to my text. I can make it function normally again when I press CTRL once. However, sometimes I press ESC too much which will delete my post/answer I was typing. So, this issue is very annoying.
