Support Neoforge modloader
Is your feature request related to a problem?
At the moment, there is no mod for NeoForge that can log and roll back actions.
Describe the solution you'd like.
It would be really great if you could make a Ledger version for this mod loader. I'm not familiar with modding, but I've heard that NeoForge has a mixin system similar to Fabric, so I think this port is possible, and there is also a Kotlin for Forge library available for it.
Describe alternatives you've considered.
Ledger does not work through Sinytra Connector. Using CoreProtect on hybrid server cores such as Arclight is also a bad idea, as modded blocks are poorly logged. GriefLogger (Neoforge's alternative to CoreProtect) does not have rollback and other features.
Agreements
- [x] I have searched for and ensured there isn't already an open issue regarding this.
- [x] I have ensured the feature I'm requesting isn't already in the latest supported mod version.
Other
Since many mods only have NeoForge versions (e.g., Create 1.21), creating servers on this loader is a relevant topic. However, mods for logging and rollback are an important part of the server, but at the moment there are no suitable solutions on NeoForge.
hi, I also want to find a mod or alternative for logging and rolling back actions on neoforge 1 21 1 for my server, maybe we can get together on discord, I have some ideas for developing this mod, but I'm not very familiar with asynchronous programming and threads in java, as I've only written backend code for a website. If you can find another developer who can help, it would be great. Discord:GGmaksimka mail:[email protected]
I also am in desperate need for something like this, if somebody decides to take up the mantle or discovers something please let me know :(
Apologies if this is necroposting or something, but I've had mixed results with GriefLogger and unfortunately, Ledger does not work with Sinytra Connector on the latest 1.20.1 build, making it unusable for the server I work on. It would be amazing if this had a proper Forge port but I don't see it happening any time soon.
