Thunderbird support

Hi there,

Many thanks for your add-on which allows me to use Firefox in a distraction free mode!

I am wondering whether the add-on could be made compatible with Thunderbird to hide the top navigation bar, including the message compose/send buttons ..., there as well.

Technically speaking, it is possible to do this. And I have wanted to do it for a while as well, but it requires a lot of work "backstage" because thunderbird doesn't have a lot of firefox's components that the add-on relies on.

Unfortunately I've barely had any time to work on the add-on lately and that won't change any time soon. And because this isn't a very high priority, it will still take a while to get to.

Thanks for mentioning this! I always thought that Thunderbird and Firefox are almost the same as they are based on xulrunner.

It's not an urgent request. Looking forward to a first beta. :)

For instance, the new customization system in firefox isn't available in thunderbird (or at least it's not activated), and the add-on relies a lot on it to make sure everything works correctly. ;)
