Show URL when press/hold a key

Sometimes, I want to have a glance to the URL, and I don't want to move the mouse to the top. Can you make that feature available for keyboard? I would like to have the bar showed as long as I hold a key (e.g. Ctrl). Someone may want just to press it once and the bar will disappear in a short time.

You can use F6 for that. Doesn't that work for you?

Half work for me. Because besides this addon, I also use Location Bar Enhance addon to make the URL look like breadcrumbs. When pressing F6, you want to modify the URL so it won't show the breadcrumbs. I want to keep the breadcrumbs when glancing the URL.

Also, Ctrl is nearer than F6.

I can't make any promises on this one for the time being, especially because Ctrl is a very special key and I have doubts that it's even possible to follow it like that (without interfering with other features/add-ons that rely on it as well).

But I'll see what I can do.

Well I am a Mac user and I have to say F6 is comfortable beacuse you have to press fn at the same time

@Quicksaver Pressing F6 will directly highlight the whole URL and display completely toolbar. I believe what @ooker777 means is simply to recall minibar.
