Close Slim Chrome instantly when clicking on the web page

Not so much an issue as a suggestion. I have set chrome to wait 2 - 3 seconds before disappearing.

Everything works really well until you need to need to access something at the top of the page you are viewing. eg. say you are on imdb.com and chrome is open, if you want to perform a new search, you first have to wait for the chrome to close.

It would be nice to have chrome close instantly when you click on the content area (web page)
