No Audio playing indicator on quick access panel
I had a tab with a youtube video open in a group different then the one I was in. I enabled you tube scripts in the group I was in & the tab in the other group started auto playing. I had to go through my groups to find the tab playing the audio. Having the audio playing indicator on any group with a tab playing audio would be very helpful.
There should be an audio indicator in the tab and the group itself at the top, before its close button. Can you confirm it's not there? Does it also not appear if you disable all your other add-ons and themes except for Tab Groups? By the way, what do you mean by "enabled you tube scripts"?
So to clarify the place I didn't see the audio icon was the drop down menu from the tool bar button listing the the groups. I didn't check the tab group view itself. I'll try to grab screenshots tonight if that'll help.
By "enabled YouTube scripts" I run NoScript. I was on a page with a video I want to watch so temporarily allowed the scripts for YouTube; which is what triggered the background tab to reload & start playing video.
Ah, yes, there aren't any status icons in the that panel yet. It's one of the things I plan to add in the future.
Fantastic! I've been using that menu to switch groups more & more. So it would be very nice to have it there.
This is very much needed, I hope it could be made a higher priority enhancement imo.
Even the "all tabs popup" has an audio indicator for tabs, which is the main reason I still use it.
