Drag and drop is slow under certain conditions

When I try to drag and drop from a large group (having expanded the stack to select a tab) sometimes the window takes a very long time to close (the tabs disappear pretty fast, but it takes around five seconds, and sometimes even longer, for the blue window to close as well), so the whole process becomes pretty laborious. This happens especially when I have enough tabs for the group to fill the whole window and the scroll bar to appear. In some cases it also becomes slower the more tabs I drag and drop.

I also just noticed that if I drop the tab in the same group it doesn't stack correctly, but appears at the top right corner of the group instead.

First of all, I'm sorry it took this long to get to this.

I haven't been able to reproduce any of your issues unfortunately. Could you please try beta version 2.1b2 and let me know if it helps at all?

No problem! In beta version 2.1b3 both still happen some of the time. The interface does seem more fluid, but for groups that take up the whole screen sometimes it doesn't seem to "notice" when you've dragged the tab away from the area, and when the groups are very large (maybe something like 70+ tabs on a session with 250+ tabs, I forgot to specify) it still takes time for the blue window to close, though now it's semi-transparent when the delay happens. Closing and reopening tab groups after a few operations makes it go faster for bit. As for the second issue, I took screenshots of it happening in both the stable version and the beta, if it helps any.

I found the issue with the tab appearing next to the stacked tabs. But I'm still not seeing any slowdown when dragging unfortunately. Just to confirm, you don't see any slowdown when closing the expanded tray normally by moving the mouse away, it only happens when you do this while dragging a tab, is this correct?
