Highlight grid is incorrect in some cases

Open rp1337 opened this issue 12 years ago • 3 comments

Highlight grid seems to incorrectly represent the locations on the scrollbar in case of multiple scrollbars (maybe a problem with specific page layout - frames/iframes/CSS/???). See for example http://confluence.jetbrains.com/display/YTD5/YouTrack+Specific+Methods and search for for example "Applicable".

That is because some pages, like that example, the scrollbars come from overflowed div elements, and not actual frames. FBT isn't compatible with those (yet) but I am trying to come up with a way to do this while maintaining performance. GMail is a special case of this kind of webpage that FBT already works with, so it is definitely possible, I just have to generalize the methods.

Is this related: http://jsfiddle.net/yanndinendal/wr9CL/1/ If I click in the large empty area in the bottom left highlights usually don't appear if I use quicksearch. Sometimes ctrl+g brings up the highlights sometimes nothing appears not even the green one. Normal search doesn't seem to have this problem, but highlights disappear if I scroll on the text area.

Yep, it's exactly the same.
