This allow the install in newer LTS of ubuntu

Hi, I don't think this is that simple. Did you try to install it with 18.04/20.04 ?

Yes I tried on 18.04 it worked perfectly

there seems to be a problem when you add a user to quickbox there is no ftp for that user root is fine but no ftp for added user
