cant import chunks

cannot import chunks its as simple as that in my one minecraft 1.19.2 world i am attempting to transport a city iv built into a different world with a much more fitting location. i select it, copy it. go to new world. select past chunks position it where id like. press paste chunks again. it does teh loading thing and then. fuck all happens. occasionally a piece of teh chunk will apear and by a piece like. 4 chunks out of the 100 selected.
