Ability to hide child comments

E.g. a preference ("collapse all after X levels"), or a menu item (since it would be useful on specific subreddits)

Would love to see this feature as well. Too clustered on mobile without such features.

Would really help as the default makes things really cluttered. :)

I would also appreciate this if it's not hard to incorporate, thank you.

This would be an much appreciated feature. It was the sole reason I used Slides instead of Apollo on ios.

Add me to the list!

On many subs, there are daily threads with hundreds of comments per day. It takes much time to scroll down the whole trees.

I prefer collapsing all but the parent comments by default on Reddit.

For comparison, the RES (Reddit Enhancement Suite) browser addon has this option in:

RES settings console → Comments → Hide All Child Comments
