Hi @Ankk98, I scanned quickly the release notes of Gnome shell ver. 49 and do not see anything that prevents this extension from running correctly in 49. Until I install ver. 49 myself and test it, this is only a speculation. If you are so inclined, you can experiment yourself (disclaimer - at your own risk) and check if the extension runs in ver. 49.1 by editing the metadata.json file and adding the new version: ''' "shell-version": [ "46", "47", "48", "49" ],... ''' The metadata.json file is typically located in the blurt@quantiusbenignus... subfolder in $HOME/.local/share/gnome-shell/extensions/ (you need to restart your Gnome shell to reflect the change, an easy way is to log out and log back in in a Gnome session). If you do go that route, please, share your findings. This may help others while I release an official update.
Yes, I tried that already. Extention was working fine, but then I noticed that the firefox app was freezing and not responding. After disabling the gnome extention, firefox is working fine. This can be a coincidence as well. I do a lot of experiments on my local. But I think a more careful look might be needed. Maybe I will go deeper if I can find some time for it.
